My Sunday Penance
Liverpool... Oh Liverpool.
It was good we lost, which means we have to work harder.
No point sulking about it. Its clear our defensive line is ageing 50% and some of our players arent as effective as they should be. Disappointing of course to go down during extra time. But thats football. It takes plenty of minutes to set up a goal, but only a second to score it.
In a very tight line up, to have a denfender score, it showed the intensity of the match.
Not the best game. But it was fair, although, if i must add, going down at extra time was just pure cruel. I thought we deserved at least a draw.
Guess this is my sunday penance. To see beloved liverpool lose since san paolo beat us at the super cup.
